The5ers at a glance
- Who runs it: Five Percent Online Ltd, with companies registered in Israel and the UK. The5ers says it was founded in 2016; its founder and CEO is Gil Ben Hur. Its terms are governed by Israeli law, and it says "there is no regulation clause to what we do".
- Platforms: MT5, cTrader (for an extra $10) and TradingView for non-US clients; its futures programme uses BlackArrow.
- Server time: GMT+2 in winter and GMT+3 in summer, so midnight on the server is 03:30 IST in winter and 02:30 IST in summer.
- India: The5ers isn't on RBI's Alert List as updated on 19 November 2025, and India isn't on its list of restricted countries. RBI says an entity not on the list should not be assumed to be authorised, and we're not aware of any ruling by an Indian regulator on prop firm fees; the guide to forex trading in India explains where prop firms sit, and prop firm taxes covers payouts.
The5ers programmes compared
| Programme | Steps and target | Daily rule | Maximum loss | Leverage | Split |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High Stakes | 2 steps: 10%, then 5% | 5% daily loss (ends the account) | 10% static | 1:100 | 80%, up to 100% with scaling |
| Hyper Growth | 1 step: 10% | 3% daily pause (stops the day only) | 6% static stop-out | 1:30 | Starts at 50% (The5ers' blog) |
| Pro Growth | 1 step: 10% | 3% daily loss (ends the account) | 6% static stop-out | 1:30 | Starts at 75% (The5ers' blog) |
| Bootcamp | 3 steps: 6% each | 3% daily pause, funded stage only | 5% per step; 4% when funded | 1:30 on forex | Starts at 50%, scales to 100% |
High Stakes sizes run from $2,500 to $100,000, with no time limit and at least three profitable days (0.5% of the initial balance) per stage. Bootcamp is paid in two parts (The5ers' FAQ, July 2026): $22 up front and $50 on success for $20,000, $95 and $205 for $100,000, and $225 and $350 for $250,000. The5ers also runs a futures programme, $59 for a $25,000 evaluation on 3 October 2026, refunded after the third payout, on the BlackArrow platform.
How the High Stakes daily loss works
The 5% daily limit is taken from the higher of your closing balance and equity on the previous day, and it resets at midnight server time. The5ers' own example: on a $100,000 account with $110,000 of equity at 23:59 server time, the next day's maximum loss is $5,500. The 10% maximum loss is static: a $100,000 account is closed below $90,000.
Hyper Growth and Pro Growth
Both are one-step programmes with a 10% target and a 6% stop-out measured from the starting balance. The difference is the daily rule: on Hyper Growth a 3% loss pauses trading for the rest of the day, while on Pro Growth it ends the account. Hyper Growth scales by doubling the account at each milestone, up to $4,000,000, and Pro Growth up to $500,000.
Bootcamp's stop loss rule
The5ers' help centre (January 2026) says every Bootcamp position needs a stop loss that risks no more than 2% of the balance, and five violations end the account. Its newer FAQ (September 2026) doesn't repeat this, so check the current rule before you trade. You can check a 2% cap by sizing from the stop with the lot size calculator.
News, weekends and EAs
- High Stakes news: no new orders of any kind in the 2 minutes before or after high-impact news; positions already open can stay.
- Hyper Growth and Bootcamp news: allowed, except bracketing strategies around the release.
- Weekends and overnight: allowed, though indices carry a high swap.
- EAs: its FAQ (July 2026) allows EAs whose source code you own and that don't copy other traders, tick-scalp or use arbitrage, with visible stop losses; its September 2026 terms ask for written approval first. Copy trading with other traders is banned.
Payouts and scaling
- High Stakes: the first withdrawal 14 days after the funded account starts, then every 2 weeks; scaling up to $500,000 each time you reach a 10% target.
- Withdrawals need at least $150 of profit (more on some High Stakes sizes; see below), are paid within 3 business days, and carry a 3.5% commission (no commission when paid as Hub Credits).
- The terms (23 September 2026) allow a full refund within 5 days of purchase, or Hub Credit after that, but only if you haven't placed a trade on the account.
Where The5ers' pages disagree
A June 2026 blog post gives the High Stakes targets as 8% and 5%, while the programme page shows 10% and 5%. Its pages also give different profit splits for Hyper Growth, different Bootcamp leverage for metals and indices, and different limits on how many accounts you can hold. Its High Stakes FAQ (15 September 2026) also sets a $300 minimum and a $3,000 cap per payout on $50,000 accounts, and $500 and $4,000 on $100,000 accounts. When they differ, follow the programme page and your account dashboard.
Sizing trades on a The5ers account
Whatever the firm, the rules come down to how much you can lose today and in total. Work out today's room with the drawdown calculator, size each trade from its stop with the prop firm lot size calculator, and check your odds of reaching the target first with the risk of ruin calculator.
