This policy explains what information is collected when you use PipLedger, how it is used, and the choices you have. PipLedger is a free website of trading calculators. You do not need an account to use it.

Information we collect

Numbers you enter. Everything you type into the calculators, such as balance, prices and lot sizes, is processed in your own browser. It is not sent to us or stored by us.

Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical details when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type, the page visited and the time of the visit. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working.

Emails you send us. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply to you.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads, which is how the site stays free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and other websites.

Other services the site uses

To load fonts and prices, your browser connects directly to these services, which can see your IP address as part of the request. None of your calculator inputs are sent to them.

• Google Fonts: the typefaces used on the site.
• gold-api.com: live gold and silver prices.
• Frankfurter: currency reference rates from the European Central Bank.

Children

PipLedger is about leveraged trading and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the calculators keep working without them. If you have emailed us and want that conversation deleted, ask us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site uses information, for example by adding analytics, we will update this page and the date at the top.
